#FLODown: Abuelo
Abuelo, located in the heart of Covent Garden, is an Australian meets South American coffee house serving all-day menu of homely meals. It was founded by an Argentinian-Australian mother-daughter duo who both have a long track record in hospitality, with successful cafes in Sydney and Melbourne too.
They offer a selection of classic brunch favourites such as smashed avocado, savoury waffles with chorizo and halloumi, truffle mushroom toasties, burgers and their popular fruit and floral selection served on sourdough. Although the dining space is relatively small, it’s incredibly chic with earthy light colours, foliage and artwork. When the weather’s good there is also plenty of seating outside so!
