Gabriel Moses’ upcoming exhibition, Selah, at 180 Studios will be his largest to date, featuring over 70 photographs and 10 films that explore his work in fashion, music, and sport. Known for his emotive, soulful images, Moses’ practice is deeply influenced by his British-Nigerian heritage, often highlighting cultural signifiers and personal history. His photography, characterised by rich colour and minimal context, reflects his respect for the women who shaped his life, particularly his grandmother, mother, and sister, who introduced him to the worlds of art and fashion.

Since emerging on the scene, Moses has quickly become a sought-after figure in both the fashion and music industries, collaborating with major brands and artists such as Louis Vuitton, Burberry, Nike, Dior, Skepta, Travis Scott, and Zinedine Zidane. His work includes iconic music videos like Fein by Travis Scott and Lost Times by ScHoolboy Q, as well as portraits of notable figures like Skepta, Alek Wek, and Jude Bellingham. The exhibition will also showcase new material, including an exclusive series of photographs and Moses’ short film, The Last Hour. Shot in Atlanta, this film explores one man’s journey to find solace and redemption through solitude.

Moses’ influence continues to grow with his first monograph, Regina, released in 2024, and his appointment as the trophy designer for the 2025 BRIT Awards. Selah builds on his successful debut solo show at 180 Studios in 2023 and his upcoming exhibitions in cities such as Chicago, Milan, Paris, and Seoul. Curated by Katja Horvat, in collaboration with 180 Studios, the show features spatial design by Emilia Margulies and graphic identity by Jayda Deans, further adding to Moses’ bold vision in this expansive presentation.
