Kate Moss, Liam Gallagher, and David Gandy donate to pop-up shop in Mayfair to raise funds for homeless charity Crisis
A week-long luxury pop-up shop in December, featuring celebrity-donated fashion, aims to support Crisis in tackling homelessness.
A special pop-up shop in Mayfair is set to raise vital funds for Crisis, the national charity for people experiencing homelessness. Running from 9 December to 14 December, this event, hosted by The Pollen Estate, will feature an exclusive selection of luxury clothing and accessories donated by celebrities like Kate Moss, Liam Gallagher, and David Gandy. Located at 28 Old Burlington Street, the shop will be open daily from 11am to 7pm, offering a curated collection from top designers and brands, including Marc Jacobs, Jimmy Choo, and Savile Row tailors.
Since its launch on Savile Row in 2018, Pop-Up Crisis has raised over ยฃ500,000 for Crisis. This yearโs event promises even more excitement, with both raffle opportunities and in-store purchases of celebrity-donated items. Shoppers can also enjoy DJ sets curated by Jonjo Jury and Bestley throughout the week. Additionally, The Watches of Switzerland Group has generously donated 100 timepieces to further support the cause.
David Gandy, a long-time supporter of Crisis, expressed his commitment to the event, saying, โItโs an honour that pieces from my wardrobe will help to raise money for a great cause close to my heart.โ The fundraiser aims to provide critical support to Crisis as they continue their mission to help people rebuild their lives through housing, employment, and wellbeing programmes.
Liz Choonara, Crisisโ Executive Director of Commerce and Enterprise, highlighted the importance of this event, stating, โPop-Up Crisis has become a highlight in Crisisโ retail calendar. Thanks to the generosity of donors and the fashion community, weโre helping to change the lives of thousands of people experiencing homelessness.โ With homelessness on the rise, this festive initiative offers a meaningful way for shoppers to contribute to an important cause while enjoying designer fashion at exclusive prices.
