#FLOFavourite: top 5 in food this week
We are into the fourth week of the government’s new ‘Eat Out to Help Out!’ scheme. It came into effect on 3 August and lasts till the end of the month, giving people 50% off their bill at thousands of restaurants across the country on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The scheme is designed to encourage us all to get out there and support the hospitality industry following the nationwide lockdown.
This week we have a mixture of restaurants to recommend to you – some of which are taking part in the scheme, and some that aren’t. Make sure to book a table quickly as restaurants are (thankfully) extremely busy!
No 11 Pimlico
#FLODown: No 11 is an independent restaurant and bar located in the heart of Belgravia. A favourite among locals, it offers a cosy contemporary interior and serves great British dishes. Whether you're looking for breakfast with all the trimmings (vegan options are available), caramelised ricotta pancakes at brunch, or the all-important Sunday roast, they have meals for all occasions. Plus, they have a great selection of cocktails and beers for those boozy gatherings with your friends.

Kricket Brixton
#FLODown: Founded in 2015 by two university pals, Kricket can be described as an ‘Anglo-Indian’ restaurant combining British ingredients with Indian flavours. Offering a selection of tasty small plates in a cosy atmosphere under a railway arch in Brixton. Expect to have your taste-buds tantalised by their signature classic KFC dish (Kerala Fried Chicken), bhel puri and samphire pakoras with chill mayo.
The bar is located in its own arch and has a similarly great range of snacks and drinks. Oh, and they are open late on the weekend for classy late-night nightcaps. What’s not to love?

#FLODown: A Mayfair hotspot located on London’s Albermarle Street, Isabel is an opulent location with equally as opulent clientele. This all-day restaurant and bar features a menu that blends Mediterranean and South American cuisines together seamlessly. Some of their best dishes include jamon Iberico, parrilla octopis, and (our favourite) truffled ricotta ravioli.
Expect to find dazzling interiors with art décor influences and a vibrant atmosphere, including a plush central bar. Art influences are felt throughout the restaurant with hand painted bespoke De Gournay wallpaper in the bathrooms, padded silk brocade walls, and velvet banquettes in the downstairs bar.

Campania
#FLODown: Located in a former dairy, Campania offers a selection of homey Italy dishes in an effortlessly chic location. This classic east London Italian will wow you with its selection of seriously tasty dishes including their lamb ragu with pappardelle and paccheri with burrata.
The restaurant is branded with the sign ‘S. Jones’ which is a nod to the building’s previous use as a diary. Campania kept many of the old features including the bare brick walls which gives the restaurant a rather romantic, rustic feel. They currently have increased outdoor space to allow for al fresco dining.
Campania is located close to the Columbia Road Flower Market and makes the perfect pit stop after some floral shopping.
