FLO Helps: La Bawaleshie Presbyterian School at V for Vanity
Where: V for Vantiy, Accra Ghana
When: December 2019
FLO London recently sponsored 30 school pupils, all under the age of 15, from La Bawaleshie Presbyterian in Accra to attend a creative session at a local pop-up art installation – V for Vanity. The students engaged in a day of fun activities including creating their own sustainable products and artwork from plastic bottles such as pencil holders, flowerpots or piggy banks.
The day allowed the students an in-depth look at the emerging art scene in Accra. This was in the hope that they will continue to engage with art, be expressive and creative in their thinking and also to broaden their perspectives and thinking.
