#FLODown: this month in food
We give you the #FLODown on where to dine this month from no-fuss Peruvian to delicious matcha pancakes…
Pachamama - Marylebone
For Dinner
Foliage tastefully decorates the walls of this no-fuss Peruvian restaurant in Marylebone. The menu consists of both small and large plates and all of the dishes are divided up into ‘soil’, ‘sea’ or ‘land. Expect to find sweet potato ceviche with soy tiger milk, salmon with avocado jalapeno sauce, and our favourite of them all is the caramlised aubergine with coriander oil.
The staff at Pachamama are well versed in the intricacies of the menu and will be able to explain what dishes complement each other, and more importantly, which wine complements the food best. Whether you are gluten-free, vegetarian or vegan there will be plenty for you to choose from here. Plus, on weekends Pachamama has an in-house DJ to start off the party – oh, and pisco cocktails. What more could you want?

YOPO is located at the swanky Mandrake Hotel in Fitzrovia, and has replaced the former restaurant in its place Serge et le Phoque. They serve up a classic European menu with a touch of South American fire in a beautiful setting complete with ceiling murals, foliage, plush velvet furnishing and mood lighting.
You can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner at YOPO. But we recommend going for dinner when you can enjoy the aubergines with a thick soy sauce, fresh coriander potatoes, sprinkled with crisps and smothered with parmesan cheese.
The food is tasteful and subtle it is complimented by their selection of very tasty cocktails.
