Opening in Marylebone in Spring 2025, Odyssey’s first UK campus will introduce a Reggio Emilia-inspired curriculum aimed at fostering creativity, critical thinking, and a global perspective in children aged 0-5 years old.

Innovative preschool brand, Odyssey, renowned for its award-winning campuses in Singapore and Malaysia, is making its debut in the United Kingdom. The first Odyssey Global Preschool campus will open in Marylebone, London, in Spring 2025. This new venture brings Odyssey’s ‘limitless learning’ approach to parents seeking a global perspective in early childhood education. With an investment of over £2 million, the Marylebone campus aims to redefine preschool learning by integrating a Reggio Emilia-inspired curriculum, offering children aged 0-5 an educational journey enriched with foreign languages, arts, and cultural experiences.

The Marylebone campus, set in a grade two listed building, promises a vibrant environment designed to stimulate creativity and exploration. It will feature specialised facilities like an atelier art room, a music studio with dedicated mentors, and outdoor spaces including a ‘grow your own’ garden and a climbing wall to encourage active learning. The campus also introduces La Cucina, a cookery station offering a menu of nutritious international cuisines, freshly prepared by an in-house chef. Guided by highly qualified Infant Mentors, children will progress through three tailored learning stages: Bambino Odyssey, Odyssey Toddlers, and Odyssey Preschool.

The curriculum is centred around four key principles: Communicating, Collaborating, Critical Thinking, and Creativity. These core areas are explored through activities that match each child’s pace and interests, including language learning, music, art, and cooking. A unique feature of the programme is the use of ‘stretchers’—storytelling and real-life experiences designed to expand children’s imaginations and broaden their understanding of the world. Registrations for the Marylebone campus, which will offer 106 places, are now open for Spring 2025 enrolment.
