Getting around Paris

There is nothing worse than discovering when you are back from holiday you could have saved a lot of money on transport around a city! We give you the #FLODown on ways you can get your self around Paris, including what deals are on offer.

Paris Visite travel pass

A Paris Visite travel pass can be used on all of the public transport networks; bus, tramway, metro, RER and SNCF. You can purchase one for 1, 2,3 and 5-day durations.

Price : For Zone 1-3

1 day: 12EUR

 2 day: 19.50 EUR

3day: 26.65 EUR

5 day: 38.35 EUR

Where to purchase? 

 You can purchase your Paris Visite travel pass at any Metro, RER station and airport counters, and select operators.

 

Carnet of 10 tickets

If you think you won't necessarily be needing public transport as frequently you can opt to buy a carnet of 10 tickets which you can use for the days you are there. Tickets don’t expire until validated.

Paris Pass 

The Paris pass is an all in one sightseeing package that includes free public transport around the city. The Pass Pass offers the following benefits;

  • Fast track entry to places such as Louvre, Centre Pompidou and Museum Orsay.

  • Free Paris Visite Pass ( Travelcard) can be included in the Paris Pass package and is valid for Metro, RER, Buses, Trams and the SNCF.

Where to Purchase? 

 The Paris pass can only be brought online, where you’ll often find promo and offers. You can have it shipped to you or you can collect from select locations in Paris.

Walking

If like us you love to wander around a city, walking around Paris is perfect for this with several quaint little cafes tucked away on random street corners. With google maps, it can be quite easy to navigate your way around Paris.
