#FLODown: Pachamama
Foliage tastefully decorates the walls of this no-fuss Peruvian restaurant in Marylebone. The menu consists of both small and large plates and all of the dishes are divided up into ‘soil’, ‘sea’ or ‘land. Expect to find sweet potato ceviche with soy tiger milk, salmon with avocado jalapeno sauce, and our favourite of them all is the caramelised aubergine with coriander oil.
The staff at Pachamama are well versed in the intricacies of the menu and will be able to explain what dishes complement each other, and more importantly, which wine complements the food best. Whether you are gluten-free, vegetarian or vegan there will be plenty for you to choose from here. Plus, on weekends Pachamama has an in-house DJ to start off the party – oh, and pisco cocktails. What more could you want?
