Everyman launches two free outdoor cinemas in London this summer
This summer, Everyman Cinema is back with free outdoor screenings at two stunning waterside venues, Kings Cross and The Brentford Project.
This summer, Everyman Cinema invites you to experience the magic of outdoor film screenings at two stunning waterside locations in London. Returning with their beloved annual event, Everyman Screen on the Canal, film enthusiasts can enjoy free screenings at King’s Cross. For the first time, Everyman is also introducing Everyman on the Water at The Brentford Project, offering a fresh outdoor cinema experience. These events promise an eclectic mix of contemporary releases, timeless classics, and sporting events like Wimbledon, perfect for family outings, romantic dates, or gatherings with friends.
Nestled along the Regent’s Canal at Granary Square, Everyman Screen on the Canal is famed for audiences warmly singing along to ABBA’s Dancing Queen. This cosy setup with bean bags on grass steps will run from 1 July - 18 August 2024, featuring popular films like Barbie, The Little Mermaid, and Dune II. Screenings are free and don’t require tickets, so it’s best to arrive early to secure a good spot!
Everyman on the Water at The Brentford Project will offer a picturesque setting where the Grand Union Canal meets the River Thames. From 1 July - 31 August 2024, this new venue will showcase a variety of films and sporting events, mirroring the eclectic line-up at King’s Cross. Alongside the cinematic offerings, guests can enjoy ice creams, beverages, and an array of food options, enhancing the al fresco movie experience. With Everyman planning to open a permanent cinema in Brentford in 2025, this summer’s screenings provide an exciting preview of what’s to come.
