This October, Battersea Power Station will offer a unique wellness experience as part of its Lift 109 Lates series. The "Elevated Sound Bath," led by renowned sound therapist Farzana Ali, will be hosted in the iconic station's north-west chimney. Attendees will be guided through a calming sound bath, 109 metres above London.
The sound bath, scheduled for 17 and 24 October 2024, provides a peaceful retreat from the hustle of city life. Guests will be immersed in soothing sound waves created by Ali’s alchemy crystal singing bowls. The heart-centred practice encourages relaxation and invites a sense of calm, all while enjoying the breathtaking view of London’s skyline.
Farzana Ali emphasises the therapeutic benefits of sound baths, noting their effectiveness in calming the nervous system while offering visual respite from the incessant screen exposure of modern life. This latest addition to the Lift 109 Lates series beautifully merges the meditative power of sound therapy with the enchanting backdrop of the city offered from Lift 109, creating an unforgettable sensory journey. It’s the ideal opportunity to unwind and rejuvenate after the summer!
